Maryland High School Basketball - St. Anselm's Abbey fells Spencerville Adventist Academy

St. Anselm's Abbey Panthers (Washington, DC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Spencerville Adventist Academy Hornets (Spencerville, MD), 47-27 in a league bout.
With the win, St. Anselm's Abbey upgrades its record to 6-4 on the season. The Panthers host Sidwell Friends (Washington, DC) to play the Quakers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 18. The Quakers go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Sidwell Friends lost 51-32 in their recent non-league bout against Archbishop Carroll (Washington, DC)
Next up, the Hornets play the Model Secondary School for the Deaf Eagles (Washington, DC) in a bout, on Wednesday, January 25. Spencerville Adventist Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record.
