In Tuesday's non-league battle, the visiting Southwest Dragons soccer squad scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Alexander Bulldogs.
The Dragons (7-1) will now prepare for their battle against Winn (Eagle Pass, TX). The Mavericks come into the 5A Region 4 District 28 battle with a 0-4 record.
The Bulldogs (3-6) will now prepare for their battle against Nixon (Laredo, TX). The Mustangs come into the non-league battle with a 0-1 record.
