Next, the Prospectors confront the Coronado Dons (Scottsdale, AZ) in a 4A Black Canyon challenge, on Thursday, January 19. Apache Junction will attempt to better on its 2-5 season record. The Dons enter the challenge with a 8-5 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Saguaro (Scottsdale, AZ).

The Coyotes now have a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Eastmark for a 4A East Sky challenge on Thursday, January 19. Combs will confront a Firebirds team coming off a 5-2 non-league win over Apache Junction (Apache Junction, AZ). The Firebirds record now stands at 2-8.
