Nanakuli Golden Hawks (Waianae, HI) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting 'Aiea Na Alii ('Aiea, HI), 69-50 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Nanakuli upgrades its record to 9-10 on the season. The Golden Hawks host Pearl City (Pearl City, HI) to clash with the Chargers in a non-league bout on Friday, January 19. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 3-13. Pearl City lost 63-33 in their recent league bout against Campbell (Ewa Beach, HI)

Next up, the Na Alii clash with the Pearl City Chargers (Pearl City, HI) in a Oahu - West I bout, on Wednesday, January 24. 'Aiea will attempt to upgrade on its 5-12 season record.
