In Wednesday's league outing, the Allentown Central Catholic Vikings (Allentown, PA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Freedom Patriots (Bethlehem, PA), by a count of 65-38.
The Vikings (13-3) will now prepare for their outing against Parkland (Allentown, PA). The Trojans go into the Lehigh Valley outing with a 10-3 record. In their last outing, Parkland smashed Pleasant Valley (Brodheadsville, PA), 69-43, in a non-league outing.
The Patriots now hold a 3-12 record. They play next when they travel to Nazareth Area for a Lehigh Valley outing on Monday, January 22. Freedom will clash with a Blue Eagles squad coming off a 85-53 non-league win over Lehigh Christian Academy (Allentown, PA). The Blue Eagles record now stands at 10-4.
