Bellefonte Raiders (Bellefonte, PA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Bald Eagle Area Bald Eagles (Wingate, PA), 38-32 in a league bout.

With the victory, Bellefonte upgrades its record to 4-8 on the campaign. The Raiders host Westmont Hilltop (Johnstown, PA) to play the Hilltoppers in a Laurel Highlands bout on Thursday, January 18. The Hilltoppers come into the bout with a record of 11-4. Westmont Hilltop lost 60-31 in their recent league bout against Greater Johnstown (Johnstown, PA)

Next up, the Bald Eagles play the Clearfield Bison (Clearfield, PA) in a Laurel Highlands bout, on Wednesday, January 24. Bald Eagle Area will attempt to upgrade on its 6-8 season record. The Bison come into the bout with a 3-11 record after their 42-41 league loss to Penns Valley Area (Spring Mills, PA).
