In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Belvidere Bucs (Belvidere, IL) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Genoa-Kingston Cogs (Genoa, IL), by a margin of 65-44.

The Bucs (3-16) will now prepare for their outing against Rockford East (Rockford, IL). The E-Rabs go into the Northern Illinois 10 outing with a 4-18 record. In their last outing, Rockford East was trounced by Metea Valley (Aurora, IL), 70-53, in a non-league outing.

The Cogs now own a 8-12 record. They play next when they travel to Rockford Christian for a Big Northern outing on Friday, January 19. Genoa-Kingston will clash with a Royal Lions squad coming off a 75-53 non-league loss to Eastland (Lanark, IL). The Royal Lions record now stands at 11-4.
