The Central Dragons basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting Philipsburg-Osceola Mountaineers to 27 in the Dragons league triumph on Wednesday.

The Dragons now sport a 12-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Greater Johnstown for a Laurel Highlands contest on Friday, January 19. Central will battle a Trojans team coming off a 62-33 non-league win over State College (State College, PA). The Trojans record now stands at 13-2.

The Mountaineers (3-11) will now prepare for their contest against Chestnut Ridge (New Paris, PA). The Lions enter the Laurel Highlands contest with a 11-2 record. In their last contest, Chestnut Ridge triumphed over Central Cambria (Ebensburg, PA), 74-42, in a league contest.
