Thunder Mountain Falcons (Juneau, AK) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Chugiak Mustangs (Chugiak, AK), 70-54 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Thunder Mountain upgrades its record to 7-3 on the season. The Falcons travel to Lathrop (Fairbanks, AK) to play the Malemutes in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 18. The Malemutes go into the bout with a record of 5-6. Lathrop won 47-24 in their recent league bout against North Pole (North Pole, AK)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Bartlett Golden Bears (Anchorage, AK) in a 4A Cook Inlet bout, on Tuesday, January 23. Chugiak will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record.
