With the victory, Cienega improves its record to 14-7 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to Nogales (Nogales, AZ) to play the Apaches in a 5A Sonoran challenge on Monday, January 22. The Apaches come into the challenge with a record of 8-8. Nogales lost 51-44 in their recent non-league challenge against Cholla (Tucson, AZ)

Next up, the Lancers play the Flowing Wells Caballeros (Tucson, AZ) in a 4A Kino challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. Salpointe Catholic will attempt to improve on its 12-7 season record. The Caballeros come into the challenge with a 1-18 record after their 71-23 league loss to Canyon del Oro (Tucson, AZ).
