Virginia High School Basketball - Rise Academy overwhelmed by Collegiate

The Collegiate Cougars basketball team scored 79 points and restricted the visiting Rise Academy Guardians to 57 in the Cougars non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Cougars now sport a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Trinity Episcopal for a VISAA Division I bout on Friday, January 19. Collegiate will clash with a Titans squad coming off a 73-50 league loss to St. Christopher's (Richmond, VA). The Titans record now stands at 9-6.
With the defeat, Rise Academy moves to 7-9 on the year. The Guardians host Banner Christian (Chesterfield, VA) to meet the in a VISAA Division IV match on Thursday, January 18. The enter the match with a record of 9-7. Banner Christian won 63-23 in their recent league match against Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot (Powhatan, VA)
