New York High School Basketball - Gompers can't hold off Columbus

The Columbus Blue Steel basketball team scored 75 points and held the visiting Gompers Panthers to 73 in the Blue Steel league triumph on Wednesday.
The Blue Steel now sport a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Walton for a PSAL AAA Bronx contest on Monday, January 22. Columbus will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 77-50 league loss to Tuitt (Bronx, NY). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-6.
The Panthers (6-5) will now prepare for their contest against Lehman (Bronx, NY). The Lions enter the non-league contest with a 2-8 record.
