The Dixon Dukes & Duchesses basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the visiting North Boone Vikings to 20 in the Dukes & Duchesses league victory on Wednesday.

The Dukes & Duchesses now sport a 17-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lutheran for a Big Northern contest on Friday, January 19. Dixon will battle a Crusaders team coming off a 73-67 non-league win over Princeton (Princeton, IL). The Crusaders record now stands at 14-7.

The Vikings (7-12) will now prepare for their contest against Rock Falls (Rock Falls, IL). The Rockets come into the Big Northern contest with a 13-7 record. In their last contest, Rock Falls triumphed over Thornton Fractional South (Lansing, IL), 58-57, in a non-league contest.
