Moore Haven Terriers (Moore Haven, FL) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting East Lee County Jaguars (Lehigh Acres, FL), 41-40 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Moore Haven upgrades its record to 11-4 on the campaign. The Terriers travel to Glades Central (Belle Glade, FL) to play the Raiders in a non-league bout on Friday, January 19. The Raiders come into the bout with a record of 8-4. Glades Central won 62-39 in their recent non-league bout against Glades Day (Belle Glade, FL)

Next up, the Jaguars play the Island Coast Gators (Cape Coral, FL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 23. East Lee County will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record.
