In their next game, the Boilermakers face the Mendota Trojans (Mendota, IL) in a Three Rivers - East game, on Friday, January 19. Kewanee will attempt to move on its 13-6 season record. The Trojans enter the game with a 7-11 record after their 75-43 non-league loss to LaSalle-Peru (LaSalle, IL).

With the defeat, Putnam County moves to 3-15 on the year. The Panthers travel to St. Bede (Peru, IL) to face the Bruins in a Tri-County game on Friday, January 19. The Bruins enter the game with a record of 4-15.
