Utah High School Basketball - Waterford crushes Maeser Prep Academy

Waterford Ravens (Sandy, UT) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Maeser Prep Academy Lions (Lindon, UT), 51-11 in a league bout.

With the win, Waterford upgrades its record to 5-6 on the season. The Ravens host Rowland Hall (Salt Lake City, UT) to clash with the Winged Lions in a 2A Region 17 bout on Friday, January 19. The Winged Lions go into the bout with a record of 4-10. Rowland Hall lost 73-64 in their recent non-league bout against American Prep WV (West Valley City, UT)

Next up, the Lions clash with the American Leadership Academy Eagles (Spanish Fork, UT) in a 2A Region 17 bout, on Friday, January 19. Maeser Prep Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 8-8 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 6-10 record after their 78-55 league win over Draper APA (Draper, UT).
