With the win, Merritt Island upgrades its record to 5-12 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Cocoa Beach (Cocoa Beach, FL) to clash with the Minutemen in a non-league bout on Friday, January 19. The Minutemen go into the bout with a record of 9-7. Cocoa Beach won 61-44 in their recent non-league bout against Edgewood (Merritt Island, FL)

Next up, the Vipers clash with the Edgewood Red Wolves (Merritt Island, FL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 19. Space Coast will attempt to upgrade on its 7-10 season record. The Red Wolves go into the bout with a 4-11 record after their 61-44 non-league loss to Cocoa Beach (Cocoa Beach, FL).
