In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Thetford Academy Panthers (Thetford, VT) basketball squad beat the host North Country Union Falcons (Newport, VT), by a margin of 60-51.
The Panthers (10-0) will now prepare for their outing against Lake Region (Orleans, VT). The Rangers go into the Capital outing with a 7-4 record. In their last outing, Lake Region was beaten by Randolph (Randolph, VT), 41-33, in a league outing.
