Rhode Island High School Basketball - Classical knocked off by Barrington

The Barrington Eagles basketball team scored 46 points and held the host Classical Purples to 33 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Eagles now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Kingstown for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 18. Barrington will battle a Skippers team coming off a 59-18 non-league win over Smithfield (Esmond, RI). The Skippers record now stands at 4-2.
The Purples (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Central (Providence, RI). The Knights enter the non-league contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, Central ran past Cumberland (Cumberland, RI), 81-67, in a non-league contest.
