In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Mountain Ridge Miners (Frostburg, MD) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Bishop Walsh Spartans (Cumberland, MD), by a margin of 60-18.
The Miners (12-2) will now prepare for their outing against Allegany (Cumberland, MD). The Campers go into the Appalachian Mountain outing with a 6-3 record.
The Spartans now own a 2-8 record. They play next when they host Allegany for a non-league outing on Friday, January 19. Bishop Walsh will clash with a Campers squad coming off a 58-28 league win over Fort Hill (Cumberland, MD). The Campers record now stands at 6-3.
