Maryland High School Basketball - Calvert ripped by North Point

The North Point Eagles basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Calvert Cavaliers to 12 in the Eagles league triumph on Wednesday.
The Eagles now sport a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Charles for a Southern Maryland contest on Thursday, January 18. North Point will battle a team coming off a 60-28 league win over Great Mills (Great Mills, MD). The record now stands at 9-2.
The Cavaliers (2-8) will now prepare for their contest against Huntingtown (Huntingtown, MD). The Hurricanes enter the Southern Maryland contest with a 8-5 record. In their last contest, Huntingtown triumphed over Thomas Stone (Waldorf, MD), 27-15, in a league contest.
