The Cascade Christian Challengers (Medford, OR) basketball crushed the visiting South Umpqua Lancers (Myrtle Creek, OR), 62-15 in Wednesday's league test.
The Challengers (10-5) will now prepare for their test against Coquille (Coquille, OR). The Red Devils go into the 3A Far West test with a 16-1 record.
The Lancers now own a 4-11 record. They play next when they travel to Lakeview for a 3A Far West test on Friday, January 19. South Umpqua will encounter a Honkers squad coming off a 42-41 league loss to Glide (Glide, OR). The Honkers record now stands at 5-9.
