Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Coleman Comets (Coleman, MI) and the visiting Harrison Hornets (Harrison, MI), saw Coleman's basketball squad knock off Harrison by a count of 41-26.

With the victory, Coleman upgrades its record to 2-6 on the campaign. The Comets travel to St. Charles (St. Charles, MI) to play the Bulldogs in a Mid-State challenge on Friday, January 19. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 7-1. St. Charles won 45-27 in their recent league challenge against Sacred Heart Academy (Mt. Pleasant, MI)

Next up, the Hornets play the Gladwin Flying G's (Gladwin, MI) in a Jack Pine challenge, on Friday, January 19. Harrison will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Flying G's come into the challenge with a 5-4 record after their 49-25 non-league win over Chippewa Hills (Remus, MI).
