Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Tri-Central Trojans (Sharpsville, IN) and the visiting Elwood Panthers (Elwood, IN), saw Tri-Central's basketball squad overcome Elwood by a tally of 45-30.

With the victory, Tri-Central improves its record to 8-10 on the campaign. The Trojans host Carroll (Flora, IN) to play the Cougars in a Hoosier Heartland challenge on Friday, January 19. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 17-3. Carroll won 72-32 in their recent league challenge against Eastern (Greentown, IN)

Next up, the Panthers play the Wes-Del Warriors (Gaston, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 18. Elwood will attempt to improve on its 3-15 season record.
