Granby Memorial Bears (Granby, CT) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Windsor Locks Raiders (Windsor Locks, CT), 41-30 in a league bout.
With the win, Granby Memorial upgrades its record to 8-3 on the season. The Bears travel to Coventry (Coventry, CT) to play the Patriots in a North Central Connecticut bout on Friday, January 19. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 5-6. Coventry lost 52-36 in their recent league bout against Canton (Canton, CT)
Next up, the Raiders play the Rockville Rams (Vernon, CT) in a North Central Connecticut bout, on Friday, January 19. Windsor Locks will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record. The Rams go into the bout with a 2-9 record after their 32-13 league win over Stafford (Stafford Springs, CT).
