In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Great Bridge Wildcats (Chesapeake, VA) basketball squad felled the visiting Norfolk Collegiate Mighty Oaks (Norfolk, VA), by a margin of 45-29.
The Wildcats (5-9) will now prepare for their outing against King's Fork (Suffolk, VA). The Bulldogs go into the Southeastern outing with a 5-7 record. In their last outing, King's Fork was beaten by Deep Creek (Chesapeake, VA), 51-38, in a league outing.
The Mighty Oaks now own a 3-6 record. They play next when they host Steward for a VISAA Division II outing on Friday, January 19. Norfolk Collegiate will clash with a Spartans squad coming off a 53-24 non-league win over St. Catherine's (Richmond, VA). The Spartans record now stands at 4-7.
