The Griswold Wolverines (Griswold, CT) basketball crushed the visiting Putnam Clippers (Putnam, CT), 46-23 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Wolverines (2-8) will now prepare for their test against Stonington (Stonington, CT). The Bears go into the non-league test with a 4-3 record. In their last test, Stonington walloped Lyman Memorial (Lebanon, CT), 52-27, in a non-league test.
The Clippers now own a 2-9 record. They play next when they travel to Wheeler for a Eastern Connecticut - 4 test on Friday, January 19. Putnam will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 36-32 non-league loss to Montville (Oakdale, CT). The Lions record now stands at 1-7.
