The Highland Park Scots (St. Paul, MN) basketball felled the host Humboldt Hawks (St. Paul, MN), 53-36 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Scots (6-5) will now prepare for their test against Harding (St. Paul, MN). The Knights go into the AAA Section 3 test with a 5-6 record.
The Hawks now own a 4-9 record. They play next when they travel to Como Park for a non-league test on Friday, January 19. Humboldt will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 72-29 non-league win over Columbia Heights (Columbia Heights, MN). The Cougars record now stands at 11-4.
