The Lindblom Eagles basketball team (Chicago, IL), was overwhelmed 73-9 in Wednesday's league battle with the visiting Hyde Park Thunderbirds (Chicago, IL)
The Thunderbirds now possess a 14-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Nazareth Academy for a non-league battle on Thursday, January 18. Hyde Park will battle a Roadrunners team coming off a 64-25 league win over Saint Viator (Arlington Heights, IL). The Roadrunners record now stands at 16-3.
The Eagles (1-11) will now prepare for their battle against Kelly (Chicago, IL). The Trojans come into the Chicago Public - Red South Central battle with a 8-7 record. In their last battle, Kelly was overwhelmed by Simeon (Chicago, IL), 47-14, in a league battle.
