The Talihina Golden Tigers basketball team scored 49 points and restricted the host Leflore Savages to 41 in the Golden Tigers non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Golden Tigers now sport a 5-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Howe for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 18. Talihina will battle a Lions team coming off a 60-54 non-league loss to Hartshorne (Hartshorne, OK). The Lions record now stands at 11-2.
The Savages (6-10) will now prepare for their contest against Arkoma (Arkoma, OK). The Mustangs come into the non-league contest with a 0-8 record. In their last contest, Arkoma dropped by Whitesboro (Whitesboro, OK), 54-22, in a non-league contest.
