The Menaul Panthers routed the host Santa Rosa Lions basketball team by a final score of 58-18 in Wednesday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Panthers face the Cottonwood Classical Prep Coyotes (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league game, on Thursday, January 18. Menaul will attempt to move on its 7-3 season record. The Coyotes enter the game with a 3-10 record after their 34-31 non-league win over East Mountain (Sandia Park, NM).

With the defeat, Santa Rosa moves to 2-12 on the year. The Lions host Tucumcari (Tucumcari, NM) to face the Rattlers in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 23.
