Connecticut High School Basketball - Northwestern Regional knocked off by Suffield

The Suffield Wildcats basketball team scored 50 points and held the visiting Northwestern Regional Highlanders to 35 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Wildcats now sport a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sports & Medical Sciences Academy for a North Central Connecticut contest on Friday, January 19. Suffield will battle a Tigers team coming off a 76-75 league loss to Somers (Somers, CT). The Tigers record now stands at 4-6.

The Highlanders (8-3) will now prepare for their contest against Shepaug Valley (Washington, CT). The Spartans go into the Berkshire bout with a 2-10 record.
