Teutopolis Wooden Shoes (Teutopolis, IL) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Waterloo Bulldogs (Waterloo, IL), 52-33 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Teutopolis upgrades its record to 15-7 on the campaign. The Wooden Shoes travel to Civic Memorial (Bethalto, IL) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 20. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 21-4. Civic Memorial won 47-45 in their recent non-league bout against Triad (Troy, IL)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the East St. Louis Flyers (East St. Louis, IL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 22. Waterloo will attempt to upgrade on its 8-15 season record. The Flyers come into the bout with a 8-14 record after their 69-61 non-league loss to Vashon (St. Louis, MO).
