The St. Mark's Lions edged the visiting Belmont Hill Sextants ice hockey squad by a tally of 3-2 in Wednesday's league bout.
With the victory, St. Mark's betters its record to 9-5 on the campaign. The Lions host St. George's (Middletown, RI) to confront the Dragons in a bout on Saturday, January 20. The Dragons go into the bout with a record of 11-3. St. George's won 8-1 in their recent league bout against Buckingham Browne & Nichols (Cambridge, MA)
The Sextants now have a 10-4 record. They take the field next when they host Tabor Academy for a bout on Saturday, January 20. Belmont Hill will confront a Seawolves squad coming off a 4-0 league loss to Phillips Exeter Academy (Exeter, NH). The Seawolves record now stands at 7-11.
