The Andes Central/Dakota Christian basketball squad (Lake Andes, SD), was nudged 67-65 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Scotland/Menno Trappers (Menno, SD)

With the victory, Scotland/Menno advances its record to 2-6 on the year. The Trappers host Alcester-Hudson (Alcester, SD) to meet the Cubs in a non-league battle on Saturday, January 18. The Cubs enter the battle with a record of 6-3. Alcester-Hudson won 66-58 in their recent non-league battle against Akron-Westfield (Akron, IA)

The now own a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Corsica/Stickney for a B Region 5 battle on Tuesday, January 21. Andes Central/Dakota Christian will meet a Jaguars squad coming off a 56-48 league win over Kimball/White Lake (Kimball, SD). The Jaguars record now stands at 7-3.
