The Apple Valley Eagles basketball team scored 77 points and limited the visiting Minneapolis Southwest Lakers to 52 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Friday.
The Eagles now possess a 12-1 record. They play next when they travel to Burnsville for a AAAA Section 3 game on Tuesday, January 21. Apple Valley will confront a Blaze team coming off a 82-53 non-league loss to Shakopee (Shakopee, MN). The Blaze record now stands at 2-10.
With the loss, Minneapolis Southwest falls to 5-6 on the campaign. The Lakers host Washburn (Minneapolis, MN) to confront the Millers in a AAAA Section 6 game on Wednesday, January 22. The Millers go into the game with a record of 9-6.
