The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Union Local Jets (Belmont, OH) and the host Buckeye Local Panthers (Rayland, OH), observed Union Local's basketball team overwhelm Buckeye Local by a score of 66-22.

The Jets (9-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Magnolia (New Martinsville, WV). The Blue Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 5-5 record.

In their next game, the Panthers battle the Toronto Red Knights (Toronto, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 20. Buckeye Local will attempt to improve on its 1-11 season record. The Red Knights come into the challenge with a 9-3 record after their 47-41 non-league loss to Indian Creek (Wintersville, OH).
