In Friday's league contest, the visiting Trinity Academy Knights basketball team scored a good 46-34 triumph over the Chaparral Roadrunners.

The Knights (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Emporia (Emporia, KS). The Spartans go into the non-league contest with a 4-3 record. In their last contest, Emporia was topped by Washburn Rural (Topeka, KS), 42-28, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Roadrunners battle the Mulvane Wildcats (Mulvane, KS) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, January 23. Chaparral will attempt to better on its 2-3 season record. The Wildcats go into the contest with a 2-7 record after their 72-64 league loss to Circle (Towanda, KS).
