In Friday's league contest, the host Merrimack Valley The Pride basketball squad scored a nice 71-53 victory over the ConVal Cougars.
With the victory, Merrimack Valley advances its record to 7-0 on the year. The The Pride travel to Pelham (Pelham, NH) to meet the Pythons in a Division II battle on Thursday, January 23. The Pythons enter the battle with a record of 7-4. Pelham won 49-43 in their recent league battle against Souhegan (Amherst, NH)
The Cougars now own a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hanover for a Division II battle on Friday, January 24.
