Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Curwensville knocked off by Mount Union

In Friday's non-league test, the Mount Union Trojans (Mount Union, PA) basketball squad knocked off the host Curwensville Golden Tide (Curwensville, PA), by a score of 66-57.

Next, the Trojans encounter the Tussey Mountain Titans (Saxton, PA) in a Inter County - East test, on Tuesday, January 21. Mount Union will attempt to improve on its 8-6 season record. The Titans come into the test with a 5-8 record after their 73-54 non-league loss to Fannett Metal (Willow Hill, PA).

The Golden Tide (4-7) will now prepare for their test against Juniata Valley (Alexandria, PA). The Hornets come into the Inter County - North test with a 5-9 record. In their last test, Juniata Valley was knocked off by West Branch (Morrisdale, PA), 98-83, in a league test.
