The Davis Aerospace Tech Aviators basketball team scored 58 points and limited the host Hope Christian Academy Hawks to 50 in the Aviators non-league triumph on Friday.

The Aviators now have a 4-5 record. They play next when they host Detroit Community for a non-league game on Saturday, January 18. Davis Aerospace Tech will confront a Hurricanes team coming off a 71-28 non-league loss to University Prep Science & Math (Detroit, MI). The Hurricanes record now stands at 4-4.

With the loss, Hope Christian Academy falls to 0-8 on the campaign. The Hawks host Parkway Christian (Sterling Heights, MI) to confront the Eagles in a Michigan Independent - Red game on Tuesday, January 21. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 9-3. Parkway Christian won 66-39 in their recent league game against Lutheran (Westland, MI)
