The Hatley Tigers basketball squad (Amory, MS), was crushed 88-52 in Friday's league battle with the host East Union Urchins (Blue Springs, MS)
With the victory, East Union advances its record to 14-4 on the year. The Urchins travel to New Site (New Site, MS) to meet the Royals in a 2A Region 1 battle on Tuesday, January 21. The Royals enter the battle with a record of 9-7. New Site won 61-53 in their recent non-league battle against Mooreville (Mooreville, MS)
The Tigers now own a 6-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hamilton for a 2A Region 1 battle on Tuesday, January 21. Hatley will meet a Lions squad coming off a 64-36 league loss to Walnut (Walnut, MS). The Lions record now stands at 8-8.
