Illinois High School Basketball - Genoa-Kingston overwhelms Stillman Valley

The Genoa-Kingston Cogs basketball team scored 68 points and limited the visiting Stillman Valley Cardinals to 43 in the Cogs league triumph on Friday.
The Cogs now possess a 8-9 record. They play next when they host Belvidere for a non-league game on Saturday, January 18. Genoa-Kingston will confront a Bucs team coming off a 57-19 league loss to Guilford (Rockford, IL). The Bucs record now stands at 6-13.
With the loss, Stillman Valley falls to 6-8 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to South Beloit (South Beloit, IL) to confront the Sobos in a non-league game on Saturday, January 18. The Sobos go into the game with a record of 12-3. South Beloit won 84-28 in their recent league game against Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Academy (Rockford, IL)
