In Friday's non-league contest, the host Powell Panthers basketball team scored a big 88-45 triumph over the Glenrock Herders.
The Panthers (8-1) will now prepare for their contest against Cody (Cody, WY). The Broncs go into the 3A Northwest contest with a 7-3 record. In their last contest, Cody smashed Hot Springs County (Thermopolis, WY), 55-49, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Herders battle the Hot Springs County Bobcats (Thermopolis, WY) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, January 18. Glenrock will attempt to better on its 6-4 season record. The Bobcats go into the contest with a 6-2 record after their 73-45 non-league win over Tongue River (Dayton, WY).
