The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Gorham Huskies (Gorham, NH) and the visiting Sunapee Lakers (Sunapee, NH), observed Gorham's basketball team overwhelm Sunapee by a margin of 72-34.
The Huskies (5-6) will now prepare for their challenge against South Portland (South Portland, ME). The Red Riots come into the non-league challenge with a 11-3 record. In their last challenge, South Portland trounced Deering (Portland, ME), 66-60, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Lakers battle the Newport Tigers (Newport, NH) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. Sunapee will attempt to better on its 0-11 season record.
