The Hastings Tigers (Hastings, NE) basketball edged the visiting McCook Bison (McCook, NE), 60-56 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Tigers now possess a 8-6 record. They play next when they travel to Gretna for a non-league bout on Thursday, January 23. Hastings will play a Dragons team coming off a 50-46 non-league loss to Lincoln (Council Bluffs, IA). The Dragons record now stands at 6-8.
With the loss, McCook falls to 10-4 on the campaign. The Bison host Minden (Minden, NE) to play the Whippets in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 18. The Whippets go into the bout with a record of 7-5. Minden won 56-35 in their recent non-league bout against St. Cecilia (Hastings, NE)
