In Friday's non-league contest, the host Hobart Bearcats basketball team scored a good 59-50 win over the Navajo Indians.

The Bearcats (10-5) will now prepare for their contest against Sayre (Sayre, OK). The Eagles come into the non-league contest with a 3-9 record. In their last contest, Sayre defeated Cordell (Cordell, OK), 54-30, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Indians battle the Temple Tigers (Temple, OK) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 21. Navajo will attempt to better on its 4-11 season record. The Tigers come into the contest with a 2-8 record after their 68-27 league loss to Grandfield (Grandfield, OK).
