The Northeast Raiders basketball squad (Macon, GA), was nudged 46-43 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Jefferson County Warriors (Louisville, GA)
With the victory, Jefferson County advances its record to 3-14 on the year. The Warriors host Washington County (Sandersville, GA) to meet the Golden Hawks in a A D1 Region 2 battle on Tuesday, January 21. The Golden Hawks enter the battle with a record of 6-9. Washington County lost 67-65 in their recent league battle against Dublin (Dublin, GA)
The Raiders now own a 2-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jasper County for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 18. Northeast will meet a Hurricanes squad coming off a 79-35 league win over Utopian Academy for the Arts (Ellenwood, GA). The Hurricanes record now stands at 7-9.
