The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Windham Bombers (Windham, OH) and the visiting Maplewood Rockets (Cortland, OH), observed Windham's basketball team knock off Maplewood by a score of 64-51.

The Bombers (5-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Mathews (Vienna, OH). The Mustangs come into the Northeastern challenge with a 11-3 record. In their last challenge, Mathews was knocked off by Brookfield (Brookfield, OH), 50-44, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Rockets encounter the St. John Fighting Herald (Ashtabula, OH) in a Northeastern challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. Maplewood will attempt to improve on its 3-9 season record. The Fighting Herald come into the challenge with a 4-6 record after their 63-62 league loss to Grand Valley (Orwell, OH).
