The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Wellsville-Middletown Tigers (Wellsville, MO) and the host Mark Twain Tigers (Center, MO), observed Wellsville-Middletown's basketball team knock off Mark Twain by a score of 53-41.

The Tigers (3-9) will now prepare for their challenge against North Callaway (Kingdom City, MO). The Thunderbirds come into the Eastern Missouri challenge with a 5-7 record. In their last challenge, North Callaway prevailed over Fayette (Fayette, MO), 61-54, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Tigers battle the Marion County Mustangs (Philadelphia, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 31. Mark Twain will attempt to improve on its 3-7 season record.
